Quality Laminate Floor Installation

Footprints Floors sanded and refinished three rooms for me and the floors look beautiful! I am so thrilled with the outcome. The price was reasonable and they got it done very quickly, too.

Chuck and team listened to our vision to update what was a very uneven and thin-- 3" concrete slab floor in our basement. Its a nearly 100yo converted root cellar. He gave us options and contingency plans-- all things were considered! He wasn't quite familiar with the finished look we requested, but he did a lot of research and pulled it off! The install team was great. We love the result.

I cannot say enough about Chuck and staff. We have had a-lot of contractors do work for us over the years and i have to say that footprints have by far exceeded all our expectations. They did an amazing job on our wood floor refinishing and really stand behind their work! Chuck is very professional and courteous unlike most contractors we have dealt with in the past. You can hire them without concern. They truly are worth it!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Chuck and Kyle from Footprint Flooring of the Western suburbs. They were professional, fast, and their work was of high quality. Chuck came by to look at our floors and spent a good amount of time explaining everything in detail that was needed to repair our floors and made sure all of our questions were answered. I was so pleased with the outcome of our flooring. We had our LVP floor repaired and it truly looks amazing. The guys did an amazing job on my bathrooms + entryway. They didn’t cut any corners, and everything looks absolutely perfect. I also had hexagons, which is way tougher tile to work with / cut. They did awesome!!

Grant came to our house right exactly on time. He was able to quickly see the issue with our floor. Although he could have recommended a complete restoration of our floor, rather he suggested that a good cleaning would remove the film and cloudy appearance. He suggested a do it yourself procedure including suggestions about choosing the best microfiber pad and cleaning solution. It appeared we have been using too high a concentration of cleaner that caused the film buildup on the floor surface. The experience with Grant showed me that this business is professional in providing the best solution to your floor problem without regard to them capturing a quick sale for unnecessary work. Thumbs up to Footprint Floors!

Excellent service from start to finish. Began with in person consult followed by in person follow up. Easy communication and I knew what to expect. Look at these stairs and the landing. The detail on how the wood was laid with a staggered design is gorgeous. Our dog approves too-she love a photo opp.

Footprint Floors did a great job on our sanding and staining of pine floors. We had some water damage in one area, where the they had to be replaced. They took our dark finished to a lighter finish and I’m completely happy with the final product. They were very knowledgeable and could explain water versus oil base with the pros and cons of each. Saul always communicated with us on the timeline and followed through with what he said he would do. The workers were very courteous and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this crew to anyone. I even found a nickel on the countertop after they were finished. Definitely a crew with high integrity!

We were SO IMPRESSED with how easy this company was to work with! Joseph goes above and beyond and CARES about their quality and your experience! He is honest and is kind! In my experience that is hard to come by these days. We started just using them for the tile and then because they were so trustworthy, easy to work with and fast we decided to use them over other companies for carpet and LVP flooring and then had them come back to do our baseboards because the other company we had planned to do our baseboards WERE NOT easy to work with. This company just steps right up to do the job and wants to work with your schedule. They sure earned our business!! When doing our tile I wasn’t prepared for the questions of how I wanted it laid (naively I didn’t know there were options lol) and instead of being frustrated in impatient with me they took the time to lay out tiles so I could picture it easier and patiently waited as I asked for opinions from family members. It was SUCH a stress relief working with them compared to other companies where I felt rushed— it’s so hard for me to make all of these decisions and they made it a lot easier. I had a difficult flooring project that I put off for years trying to find someone who could tackle such a complicated job. I saw an ad for Footprints Floors and read all the great reviews and decided to give them a call. Joseph came right out to give me a bid—He is personable and organized, and remained attentive and communicative throughout the process. They were able to transform my uneven, peeling basement kitchen floor to beautiful LVP flooring. (See before and after photos) Everyone was very pleasant and kind to work with and they completed the project quickly with a great result.

Matt is very responsive and went above and beyond to get me an estimate of floor damages before closing.

I am a picky DIY'er and in most cases, when I hire someone to come in and do things like cabinets, flooring, countertops, etc., I am not totally, completely, satisfied. However, I have to say that Footprints Floors knocked it out of the park with replacing the flooring in my whole condo with a new Luxury Vinyl Flooring product that we got from Floor and Decor. We just love the new floor, and the workers at our place were very pleasant and diligent about making it perfect. I would recommend Footprints Floors to EVERYONE who lives in this area and needs floor work. We are very pleased!!
